Changing lesser titles does not make sense to me either. The Dinastic CoA are adressed by the new feature of the cadet branches. Your Dinastic CoA, your Realm CoA (aka main title) and all the Other CoA of your "lesser" titles. So you have three CoA witch are relateed to your person. And here the question is: where to start and where to stop? If i can freely use this "feature" it leads inevitably to a CoA-gore. But as i understand the thread opener he want to change dinasty/personal CoA corresponding to the titles he simply bears. In this case it makes sense to merge the CoA too. If you merge them you also destroy one title. In CK2 they stay two titles so you can conquer one of them. So the above example is the CoA of the historically merged Crown of Castille and Leon. As long as you can't merge titles it doesn't make any sense in merging CoA. But titles are more like bricks you can "collect". In fact it doesn't really matter here anyway i think.Ĭause: what is exactly the point of the thread? inGame you bear the CoA of your DINASTY (and with cadet branches in CK3 changes will come anyways). In later times of heraldic decay i could agree in some way. In the golden age of heraldry (the timeframe of CK2 vanilla) i would strongly disagree.

Currently, /r/CrusaderKings is operating its seventh communal game. It's arguable i think.
